Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-12 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
- Developing and executing communication plans, campaigns and outreach efforts;
- Communicating through various form of media, in-person and in writing;
- Performing protocol and event planning, scheduling and execution;
- Maintaining the currency and accuracy of internal and external web presences;
- Managing web-based materials distributed via social and electronic media;
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
